Finally a girls escape! Our last trip was to Orlando and Disney almost 3 years ago. It is amazing how fast time goes by these days. Covid is STILL an issue so any escape is a blessing at this point. So me and my friend Tonya decided to head to Marathon Key, Florida to soak up some sunshine and eat chicken! We left Detroit and headed to Fort Lauderdale airport hopped in our rental car and headed to our first stop on vacation……ROSS!!! Man we love ross. We shopped then headed south to highway 1 entering the Florida Keys! Let the vacation begin!

We arrived at the condo got all settled in and got a good night sleep. Day one we hit the pool! We had our tropical drinks and the pool all to ourselves! Sunshine, Palm Trees, and Iguanas! Take me back now

Day 2 and Day 3 we spent the early morning and afternoon till about 3pm each day at the pool. We spent the evening eating dinner, shopping, exploring Key West and driving down Duval St. We had amazing weather the whole trip. The pool was our private oasis the whole trip. It couldn’t have been better!

On our final day we closed up the condo packed the car and made our way back to Fort Lauderdale. Our flight wasn’t until 6:45pm so we made a pitstop at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino. We explored the place ate some lunch and did some shopping. Now you know we had to gamble to. We played roulette and i walked out $204.00 richer. haha. It was a great way to end a fantastic relaxing vacation! Looking forward to my next trip already. Where shall I go next??????
