I have always wanted to go to Disney World and ride the rides and do what the kids do but going to Disney with kids as most of you know you do not get to enjoy the park as you would want to. You have to enjoy the park as your children want to. Will this year I decided I wanted to go on a trip with a friend and do something I have never done that was Disney World as an adult with no kids. We went the week after Labor Day which turned out to be the cheapest time to fly and go to Disney. We got to the Magic Kingdom around 11 a.m. walk the entire park I got to explore the castle, all of the different lands, and look at all of the beautiful landscape and Decor that Disney has to offer. We left the park around 5:30 p.m. after riding every ride in the park. I believe the longest we waited was 15 minutes which was amazing. Disney as a childless adult was definitely a great experience. My friend Tonya went with me. We had so much fun together. Many many laughs. While we were in Orlando we stayed at the Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee which is absolutely beautiful. We spent our time at the resort mainly in the pool soaking up the Sun.We also visited Universal Studios Orlando CityWalk and Disney Springs.We did some shopping and had our much needed ice and had our much needed ice cream fix on our last night of vacation.It was one of the best trips I have taken. I think it was I was doing something for myself that I have always wanted to do and I finally feel good about myself for the first time in many many years. I was excited to wear a swimsuit at the pool and swim! The trip to me was a reward for all of my weight loss and self work I have been doing. It was amazing and I cant wait for our adventure next September!
