Jennifer is a 35 year old single mom of 2 beautiful girls battling her 3rd round of cervical cancer. Her girls have been my biggest cheerleaders even helping her shave her head twice, and though it’s different to most, they tell her bald is beautiful everyday and it makes her realize she must be doing something right, they are her reason. She is a fighter, a survivor, a warrior. She is also the sister of The Blunt Bands drummer Derek. So this benefit was special for us to do.

We held raffles and took donations. Even a 50/50 raffle where the winner donated it all back to the cause. We raised almost $2,000 for Jennifer and her girls!
