Every year Labor Day weekend the little town of Brethren Michigan puts on a 3 day fun festival. This Includes live music, softball tournament,cornhole,drinks,food,vendors,kid activities,a 5k run, parade, and a fireworks show. Well our cabin is in brethren and we like to take the whole band there Friday through Monday! We played the festival Saturday night this year from 10pm to 1am. It was so much fun. But before the show the band has some band family bonding good ole up north fun!

Me, Chris, Dad, and Derek arrived early on friday. We went to an early breakfast around 10am while we were waiting on the others to arrive. After breakfast we heading back to the cabin to hang and wait for everyone. Dad started the fire while Chris and Derek pulled out the toys!!

Eventually later that afternoon Mike arrived and we started setting up for practice in the barn, then we took Derek to his first winery. Then out to eat while we were still waiting for Steve and Ashlee to arrive……..WE ARE ALWAYS WAITING ON STEVE!!! HAHAHAHA

Finally Steve arrived and we got a mini practice in! Then it was off to bed!

Ahh the sun is shining the weather is warm and its a happy Saturday morning up north. We ordered breakfast then got right to some up north fun!!!! Shooting, Riding, Drinking, and lots and lots of laughs!

Now its show time!!! We went to Tracks and had a big meal before heading to set up the stage and start the show. The bond that a good band has is amazing! We truly love one another like family and we all couldnt ask for a better group of people to play with and hang with! We are already planning our trip for next year!
