This year i decided to go out of my comfort zone an for the first time I went to the cabin alone. Well without Chris being there to get it all opened up and ready. So i packed my car and Tonya headed over and we started on the journey what we called Girls Weekend!
So Tonya and I got there friday afternoon. After our 3 hour journey there we got the cabin all opened up and all out goodies unpacked. Now it was time to have some fun and explore while we waited for Julie and Jen to arrive Saturday morning. We went to breakfast at the Kozy Kitchen In Wellston Michigan. Then off to the Manistee river and Tippy Dam for some sunshine and beautiful sights. But first we had to do our YUMMY breakfast shots that Tonya brought. I’ll list the recipe at the bottom of this blog for all those wanting to try.
Saturday once Julie and Jen arrived we did our morning shots the off to the wineries in Northern Michigan. We Visited Douglas Valley Family Winery first and had such a blast!!

After a long day of drinks and laughs we headed back to the cabin for some outdoor fun and campfire stories!!! Thank god Julie was our fire whisperer and got it up and going. it had to be the fire dance…..haha. It was an amazing trip with a group of amazing women! I cannot wait to plan the next one soon!
